End of the world, or not

So the long awaited day is here at last. According to the Mayan Prophecy, it states that the world is gonna end on this day. Oh well we will wait and see. Speaking of the date itself, it reminds me of the time where my friends and i walked a half an hour journey all the way from school just to catch the movie, 2012.

Aside from that, seems like year 2012 is ending soon. Time passes so fast as if it passed in a blink of an eye. I still remember i decided to quit form 6 as if like it was yesterday. A choice that i had made which lead me here right now. If i did not went out of form 6 i would be very free right now as if would have already completed my STPM examination. This kind of reminds me of the poem, The Road Not Taken.

Two roads diverge in a yellow wood,
Sorry i could not travel both,
Be one traveller long i stood,
To look down on one as long far as i could,
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Thats just the first stanza. Its all thanks to my beloved principal which made my whole class memorize the whole poem, but thats all i could remember now.

In 6 days from now i will be sitting for my finals. It is gonna mark my completion of my second semester out of a total of 6 semesters. Wow if i put it that way i am already 1/3 through! Somehow deep inside me, i hope that after i complete my advance diploma, i would love to take the top up 6 months degree program in Australia!

So recently i managed to get some game item which i could sell it off at Rm2000. Currently its offer is still at Rm1100 though. I was wondering what to do with that money. I guess if i manage to sell it off at Rm1500 im gonna safe the 500 for my incoming Singapore trip and the other 1000 im gonna get myself an ipad mini!

I guess this is all for now. Its gonna be interesting to see whats REALLY gonna happen on 21/12/2012! Till then!

Flight

Leaving off from my last post, i am now currently already halfway through my 2nd semester in TARC. What really changed my life here are the friends that i made in a game which i had played back in 2006 but had quit in 2008 and back temporarily somewhere in between but never as constant as it was the moment i stepped into college. It has been roughly 5 months since i played Maplestory. Within that time frame i have met a few strangers which became a part of my life today.

On the 21st of September, one of my maple mates decided to spend his holidays in Kuala Lumpur. Jess,Kelvin, Chun Kit and i welcomed Fadhli at the LCCT airport. It was already nightfall that moment. So Eelyn suggested a place called Murni. My oh my, i like Murni a lot as their portion of food are big! On Saturday we were suppose to go to Broga Hills but it was already late when we finished our dinner so we cancelled it and decided to just go on about at KLCC. We met up in the noon at KLCC with the courtesy of Eelyn picking us up from My Home. We had Nandos for lunch with the same group of people that was in the airport. It wasn't much of a day because Jess, Eelyn and Chun Kit had stuffs to do in the evening. So Kelvin and I had to entertain Fadhli instead! We spent our evening in the hotel watching the sick movies that Fadhli watches with his girlfriend. Halfway we went out and had Dominos for dinner. On Sunday we went to Malacca! It was kind of spontaneous as we had no plans at all on Sunday, then Jess and Eelyn said that Malacca is a fun place to go to, so without second thoughts we all decided to head on straight to Malacca! I have always heard of Satay Celup is nice from my friends and finally i am getting the chance to eat it! Ironically from the name, i'm sure you would be expecting satay but there isn't any! Realistically its just like steamboat but instead of the broth, the thick nutty satay sauce is used as the broth. So that is Satay Celup. After our wonderful meal we headed off to a riverside. It is said to be a Portuguese beach or something, heck i don't really care as the bomb to being there was the awesome mango juice! We spent 2 hours or so chatting there till the moon was up and then headed over to Jonker Street at night to look at stuffs and headed back to KL at 10pm. There was a shocking incident early in the journey back home. A car suddenly break in the middle of the road, almost completely stopped! We all almost had a heart attack in the car! But we made it back safe in the end so no worries! We had a lot of heart to heart talks in the journey back home, talking about one another's crushes, on-going crushes and relationships. If it wasn't for their support i would not have gotten so far as i had now with a certain person ;) Eelyn, Kelvin and I sent Fadhli off to the airport on Tuesday. When it was like only 1 traffic light back to my place, we all suddenly talked about a random pub called Overtime and Eelyn said that she has half bottle of Black Label left, me being a newbie in alcohol made me want to try it even more so everyone in the car agreed to go to the bar and finished it since Eelyn is leaving to Singapore soon. Without any doubts, we did a U-turn in the next traffic light and went all the way to PJ. We went to a bar called Bartress. Seems like Black Label is usually taken with Coke. Unfortunately i can't take it neat. The moment i let go my breath while attempting to drink it neat, my eyes hurt from the fume lol.

Recently just a few days ago, Fadhli came to Kuala Lumpur again. He came on the 24th of October which falls on a Wednesday. After class i went to pick up Fadhli at Times Square. We walked around Times Square and went to Carefour to buy some stuffs to chew back at house. The journey back home was horrible. The jam prolonged our journey back from from a mere 30 minutes to an hour an half. Initially, Fadhli came to KL as an act of surprise for Jess as her birthday was approaching on Friday. The default plan was to go for a drink on Thursday night till the clock hits 12 and wish Jess a very happy birthday but too bad later on plan cancelled as she is occupied with some stuff, another time i guess! So basically on Thursday we just spent time talking outside the house while playing the guitar the guitar. On Friday we went out lunch with Eelyn and her friend at The Gardens Sushi Zan Mai. Its my first time being in The Gardens and eating Sushi Zan Mai! After our meal we went to Carefour to buy BBQ equipment. Got myself a Gong Cha Winter Melon Tea with special brew on the way, its my current addiction! Went back home and rest for a while then Sam came and pick up up and drove us to Jusco to get food for our BBQ. I bought myself a shelf for my room as Sam could help me in transporting it back home. Thanks Sam! It was kinda sad that Sam got sick all of a sudden then he could not eat at all. Lets hope that doesn't happen in the upcoming Singapore trip which is gonna be planned by Fadhli! On Saturday, it was an early day as Fadhli had to leave early for urgent matters back in Singapore. We sent him off and went to buy some hardware things and went back home to assemble the shelf.

I am glad i met such awesome people in my life. I wonder what is going to happen on the next coming holidays, Deepavali ;)

To where i am

Its already been a month since i have enrolled myself into Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC). I am currently doing diploma in accounting. Honestly speaking, i myself still did not know what that i want to do in the future. Simply, i just took a leap of faith into pursuing this line of career upon hearing my cousins success story.

When i know that i was going to TARC i felt very insecure because of the language barrier that exist within myself. Being brought up in an english educated family with a primary education in a national school as well as in secondary therefore i know little to nothing when it comes to the language so forth known as, Chinese which remains as a virgin territory to me. Because of that i took the initiative to learn some of simple chinese words which are often used in simple conversations like, "Want to eat? What time is it? Where, why, how and etc".

When the time came, i entered my first class. I am indeed lucky to have found someone that spoke English. Seems like it was not too bad because at least i found someone speaks the same language as i am. Currently my group consists of people whom i speak in English and Cantonese. Sometimes they speak Mandarin among themselves so i use that opportunity to further improve my Chinese vocab, i hope by the end of my diploma i would be able to converse in Chinese!

They say that college/uni are the best times in ones life. I hope that is true. I took the initiative to be a part of a committee of a society. Everything seems nice to me as i felt like i was at home with a comfortable environment around me. I hope what the future has installed for me will be kind to me!

Recently my good friend has got into trouble but he is doing better now. I hope he continues to recover!

New Year

I did not do much this year on New Year's Eve. I just felt like staying at home and spent it quietly. After a while it got me thinking. How did i spent my previous New Year Eve's. Well as far as i remember this is how i spent my previous New Year Eve's

2011 (18 Years old)
I spent 2011 New Year Eve with my friends, mostly classmates :) Johnson, Ah Yang, Kam Lung, Hau Hwa, Lu Wei, and Eddy. We had our dinner together at Bayleaf, it's a restaurant where they serve western cuisine. After our dinner we went to Teluk Cempedak to feel the sea breeze. We bought a cake from Hyatt to cut when the clock hits 12.00am . From Teluk Cempedak we skadoodled to Andrew's place to hit on. We played a few video games and then poof! Its New Year! We wished everyone around us happy new year and thats about it.

2010 (17 Years old)
Oddly i do not really remember what i did on 2010's New Year Eve. There isn't any pictures for me to reminisce unlike now. Perhaps, i think i spent it celebrating Pak Shian's birthday at Just Relax.

2009 (16 Years old)
On this New Year Eve i spent it at Kristyl's place. We had BBQ. There were chicken, lamb, sausages, chicken balls and lots more! There were really a lot of people there. The ones that i recall are Kristyl, Nazim, Adlene, Jordan, Shammie, Aruni, Felicia and a few more girls which that i do not know of. Overall i enjoyed that night a lot :)

2008 - 1993
I don't think i did much on this time frame. I was still young and innocent :) However i do remember spending it at home playing games when i was still addicted to games ahahahha.
